Mobile Home II: The Epic Poem by Toonicorn Mobile Home II: The Epic Poem by Toonicorn
This is the second version of my chalk-and-pencil piece "Mobile Home". I created this second version because the piece has a story behind it which, in this version, I've written in verse below the picture.

In case you find it difficult to read, I'll post the verse below:

*Once I came across a house that, near as I could tell,
Was the only house in all the world built on a tortoise shell.
A wizard lived inside the house. He seemed so wise to me.
He asked me in to have a chat and share a pot of tea.
"My tortoise takes me everywhere," he said to me. "I'm bound
To learn new things and see new sights by traveling town to town."
"But a tortoise is so slow," I said. "Why go so slow a pace?"
"Wisdom, child," the wizard said, "cannot be gained in haste."*
